Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are grateful to our adult chaperones who will be serving and supporting this spiritual retreat with the Eritrean Orthodox Youth Association (ErOYA). Your guidance, care, and example are essential in helping create a safe, prayerful, and enriching environment for our youth as they grow closer to God. The retreat will take place Thursday, July 30, to Monday, August 3, 2026.

In consideration of my participation, I hereby voluntarily assume all risks and release, discharge, and hold harmless the organizers, its clergy, staff, volunteers, workshop leaders, and affiliated representatives from any and all liability, claims, damages, or expenses arising out of or related to my participation in these programs, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

Should it be necessary for me to have medical treatment while participating in this retreat, I hereby give the organizers, permission to use their judgment in obtaining medical service for me and I give permission to the physician selected by the organizers to render medical treatment deemed necessary and appropriate by the physician. I understand that the organizers has no insurance covering such treatment and medical and hospital costs incurred for me and, therefore, any costs incurred for such treatment shall be my sole responsibility. I understand that I will be excluded from this retreat if the medical authorization is not signed.
